-had to perfectly time, slicing up the Big Mom's Sun, and slicing the edge off of a whole island🔥
Luffy looks like he's ready to take it up a notch, and Zoro always has his back!

The black blade haki is Zoro coating his swords with conqueror's haki, just like Roger, Whitebeard, and Kaido do with their weapons.

Completely agree. This is what the anime needs to do. the Manga tells the story but the anime makes you feeel it.

A manga just can't really show the true imposing pressure of the characters, show all aspects of the fight. What would have been a few panels that fly by in a manga, becomes a true fight.

A couple years off. I had the Shonen Jump Manga of chapter 0 when he first was in a barrel that ended up eating the apples on the ship of his first villain. In terms that was only around 2000. Japan I think it was the end of 1999. Even then the anime didn't come around until 2009. Some of their other Shonens released with it had already had anime out before then such as bleach that came after in the shonen and released before it even, Naruto and Shaman King (Yu-gi-oh which the anime sucked compared to the manga as it cut out all the real stuff and only focused on cards)

One piece manga's first chapter was released on July 23 1997 while anime came out in October 1999. It predates both bleach and Naruto. Also chapter 0 isn't about luffy it's about Roger and shiki(strong world movie villain). If you are talking about romance dawn one shots then it came out in 1995 and was officially published in shounen jump magazine in 1998. One piece day is celebration of first chapter release and nothing to do with anime

They only released skits of One Piece before it was ever an actual comic which had nothing to do with the story you watch today. It actually released October 1999. Also Chapter 0 is exactly about the start of the story. The manga released in 2000 in Shonen Jump and distributed monthly. So no One Piece is not 25 years old. It's 22 years old.

What are you talking about. Anime was released in October 1999, you can go even on toei's official site and you will find that was it's release date. Same for manga whose release date was on July 22nd/23rd 1997 with USA getting its first chapter in 2002 and English dub released in 2004. You might be confusing with Naruto whose first chapter was released in shounen jump magazine in late 1999 with anime release in 2002. Even comics thing can be that since Naruto did have more of a comic look in its initial plotline thought by kishimoto which was never released publically outside Japan. Bleach on the other hand started in WSJ magazine in 2001 and anime in 2004

Normally when someone being told that they have the year wrong, they would go and recheck it first. But you? Really? You still keep thinking that the one in your memory is the right year without checking anything? If you actually bother to check, you would noticed easily in any wiki, official website, twitter, etc that the real year are One Piece is 25 years old. Even the Japanese having an event to celebrate 25th anniversary of One Piece.

I did and was wrong. I just didn't end up coming back at the time and got busy and forgot. Though to be fair I highly doubt a lot of the people watched it 25 years ago here. Especially given that many people likely say they've been around the start for a lot popular long lasting things and don't. However for the English reader this was around the time I stated. With the English viewers first publications in Chapter 0 which was first shown in Shonen Jump. Also a lot of other main stream anime were in the volume such Naruto and Shaman King. It was only in Japan 25 years ago which also translation also took longer and wasn't that good and One Piece wasn't really something a lot of the English community would have access to. At the time we'd get games way later then Japan because of this as well. Some games didn't even released for years after the Japanese community. Example would be Pokemon which released 2 years after Japan. This also made Final Fantasy 9 later also which PS2 was already released by then and it became more ignored. In terms the internet was still really new and there wasn't really a lot of these kind of sites or translations in anime back then. Worse even we sometimes got censored anime due to content like Sailor Moon having lesbians and Digimons various scenes changed. LoL. I still doubt that most of the English writers here read One Piece in Japan 25 years ago.
